Fund managers say value in European stocks was obvious long ago.
John Whelan from PM Capital talks to Vesna Poljak from the Australian Financial Review to discuss their long term view on Europe, owning stocks ''before it was edgy".
"Everyone's talking about the US market but the European market's up even stronger. We believe that the economies are less impacted from political factors than most people really think. Ireland is creating 1,000 jobs a week which equals 3 per cent employment growth, and unemployment should get under 5 per cent by the end of the year. Airport arrivals are up 10 per cent in 2016 because there's more economic activity around and hotel rates are up 16 per cent, there's cranes everywhere."
